Terms of Service

Vesta is an unregistered, UK-focused service for people aged 18 and over. By creating an account, publishing a kitchen or using another authenticated feature, you agree to these Terms. Do not create an account or use those features if you are under 18.

These Terms apply to Vesta as it operates today. We do not currently offer subscriptions or other paid plans. If that changes, we will update these Terms and give any notice required by law before introducing the new service.

Vesta provides food discovery, kitchen-profile hosting and tools that let visitors contact independent cooks directly. We are not the seller, preparer, supplier, retailer, delivery provider or food-payment processor.

We do not accept or confirm food orders, collect or hold food payments, set final food prices, prepare food, arrange delivery or manage food refunds. A displayed price, enquiry-basket total or WhatsApp enquiry is indicative only. It is not a Vesta checkout, an accepted order or a contract for food.

Any food agreement is made directly between the visitor and the cook. The cook decides whether to respond to an enquiry and is responsible for final price, availability, ingredients, allergens, payment, collection, delivery, cancellation, refunds and fulfilment.

Cooks are responsible for the information on their kitchen pages, including menus, prices, availability, ingredients, allergen, dietary and halal claims, opening hours and contact details. A listing or featured placement is not a food-safety approval.

Vesta does not inspect, prepare, test, certify, guarantee or endorse a cook, its food, its food-safety practice or its legal compliance unless we explicitly say otherwise and give the basis for that specific statement. Check directly with the cook before making a food decision, especially about allergens, intolerances, ingredients and cross-contamination.

If there is an immediate health emergency, contact the appropriate emergency service. Vesta is not an emergency service or food-safety inspection service.

Keep your account information accurate and protect your sign-in details. Do not use Vesta to break the law, infringe another person's rights, publish inaccurate or harmful content, impersonate another person, bypass a security control, scrape the service without permission or introduce malware.

A cook must follow the Cook Rules, be authorised to manage its kitchen, keep its content accurate and meet the food, consumer, advertising, privacy, tax, licensing and other requirements that apply to its operation.

You keep ownership of content you lawfully submit, but give Vesta a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, format, display and distribute it as needed to operate and promote the service. You confirm that you have the rights needed to grant that licence.

Kitchen pages can link to WhatsApp, social networks and other third-party services. Those services are controlled by their providers and have their own terms and privacy practices. Following an external link is your choice.

We may remove content or limit access where we reasonably believe these Terms, our policies or applicable law have been breached. We aim to use a proportionate process, but we do not promise to check every listing before it appears.

Vesta does not guarantee that independent cook content is complete, accurate, current, available, safe or suitable for a particular person. We are not responsible for a cook's food, payment, fulfilment, communications or direct agreement with a visitor. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

We may update these Terms as the service changes. The current version is dated 20 September 2026 and applies to the UK only.
