Who can publish a kitchen
A cook must be at least 18, own or be authorised to manage its kitchen and have the rights needed for every item of content it submits. A cook is an independent food supplier to its customers; Vesta provides discovery and profile tools only.
A cook must not represent Vesta as the food seller, ask Vesta to accept food orders or payments, or imply that Vesta has registered, inspected, certified or approved its kitchen or food without an authorised written statement from Vesta.
Food and listing responsibilities
A cook must comply with all requirements that apply to its operation, including food safety, hygiene, allergens, traceability, consumer information, advertising, tax, licences, insurance, privacy and local-authority requirements. Where required by law, the cook must register its food operation before trading and keep that registration current.
Keep every kitchen page accurate and current, including menu, prices, availability, ingredients, allergens, dietary and halal claims, images, opening hours, payment methods and contact details. Before agreeing to supply food, provide the customer with the information required by law, including allergen information at the required time.
Direct arrangements and platform conduct
The cook decides whether to respond to an enquiry. It must confirm final price, stock, ingredients, allergen information, payment, collection, delivery, cancellation, refund and fulfilment directly with the customer. A Vesta enquiry or basket total is not an order accepted by Vesta.
Do not publish misleading, unsafe, illegal, infringing or privacy-invasive content. Cooperate promptly with a reasonable request about a food-safety, legal, privacy or consumer-protection report.
Reports and account action
We may investigate a report, request a correction, limit a kitchen, unpublish content or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law or enforce these rules. We aim to use a proportionate process, but do not verify every listing before it is published.
Vesta does not currently offer subscriptions or paid plans. If this changes, the terms for that separate platform service will be presented before any charge is made.
